Bishop Henry Gales who, having difficulties funding the building of a new cathedral, prays for divine guidance. His plea is seemingly answered by a suave angel named Dudley, who reveals his identity only to the clergyman. Dudley's mission turns out not to be to help construct a cathedral, but to guide Henry and the people around him spiritually. Along the way Dudley begins to long for more than his current existence and contemplates giving up eternity for a chance at everything that makes us human.

Directed by Brian A. Palmer, The Cast: Logan Fondriest as Dudley; Grady Sims as Bishop Henry Gales; Kate France as Julia Gales; Aubrey Smetzer as Debbie Gales; Brenda Josephsen as Mrs. Hamilton and Ruth; Lee Gilbert as Miss Cassaway and Matilda; Steve Josephsen as Sylvester, Stevens, and Mr. Miller; Richard Wilson as Professor Wutheridge.

Performances run Friday, December 19, 2025 through Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:00 PM on Sundays on the Shedd Stage at the Columbus Performing Arts Center.
